My Way

我在NTU的个人网页自从毕业后就不能维护了，有些内容想要转移到一个可以很好维护的站点上去。

Live Space原本用起来还算方便，但是限制太多，不够自由，有些内容不合适放上来。

最后就自己用Wordpress搭了个站点，虚拟主机一年也就二百多，基本可以靠那点少少的广告来自给自足。

所以就迁了：www.meshwalk.com

域名乃是拍脑袋出来的，取义a walk in the mesh of research, technologies, and engineering。

后来网上搜一下，mesh walk 也有 walking conference 之用意，倒也勉强符合我内容随意之境界。

X-Lite can send 3 different types of DTMF, and you need to know which to use or to try all methods.

This is the most likely solution:
Dial ***7469 (send)

Once you get the advanced options menu up, filter first for DTMF. Find the Force Inband DTMF entry, and change the value accordingly.

Then filter for 2833. Find the RTP 2833 enabled line, and change this value accordingly.

Setting both to 0 will force DTMF as SIP_INFO

Managed to run M$ Office 2003 and IE on Linux. A few features are missing but they are useable.

No longer need to switch to Windows XP virtual machine when editing Word documents and I can now access ICBC e-banking website with IE (not CMB though).

In the screenshot you can see GIMP and KPDF in background and Word, Excel, and IE in front.

Wish one day OOo be competitive enough to throw these M$ products away, though I doubt that would happen any time soon.

强势的美国并不是靠抵制日货强势起来的，事实上全世界的人们都在努力地工作，为美国人供应廉价和优质的产品和服务。中国的强盛必然是一个从大量输出廉价商品到大量输入廉价商品的转变过程，而这个过程，就要靠在不同的时期把最会做的事情做好，从而谋求利益最大化，提高自己的比较优势。放弃自己会做的事情不做好，硬是要在不恰当的时机做还不会做的事情，就是浪费时间和资源，只会放慢前进的步伐。

 

如果不能以最优质、最实惠、最经济的标准来使用购买力，难道还能够在自由（同时也是险恶的）贸易中和敌人博弈并获胜么？

 

不需要同的高深的经济学，只要问问自己，这是一笔合算的买卖么？如果明知不合算，自己还做，那是愚蠢；如果明知不合算，但是还高喊抵制口号，让别人做不合算的买卖，那是阴险！请君一读：民族主义的特洛伊木马。
